“Yuktaharaviharaya   Yukt-cheshtasya karmasu I

Yukta swapnovabodhasya, yogo bhavati dukhaha II

If we are born with perfect health, we can live a long life without any diseases in our body.

Yogasana is the way to live a long healthy life and Pranayama is one of the very important steps in achieving the goal.  Pranayama means regulation in breathing. We can achieve regulation in breathing by performing different pranayama (breathing) techniques. By achieving regulated breathing, we can clean our whole body and provide new pranas (life force) to every cell of our body.  As per Yogasana, Pranayama (regulated Yogic breathing) is the only solution to making ourselves pure and clean from within.

Regular meditation in the form of pranayama (specific, regulated Yogic Breathing techniques) and asana, especially in the early morning gives us new strength and an inner life of joy and bliss.  In the early morning: when the new energy is flowing through the body, when the mind and body is fresh to practice and thus receive new power by practice is the best time of the day to perform pranayama, meditation and other steps of Yogasana.
